I often speak of living the American Dream.
What I don’t often talk as openly about is my work on myself–as a person, an entrepreneur, a boss and a woman. While I have reached a certain level professionally and created a business I am proud of, the continuation of my dream is taking my business to the next level. To reach my goals, I must dig deeper and grow personally and professionally beyond who I am today.
As I look at the women in business I admire locally, I am in awe of their knowledge, talent and the responsibility they carry with such grace. I value our business relationships and every opportunity I get with them to glean insights from their experiences. Relationships like these, especially with women in business, are so critical. We all need role models, confidants, and mentors – even when you own a $20 million employment, workforce and staffing company.
As I continue to chase my dreams, taking time out to talk, share a cocktail, meet for coffee, or attend an event, is as important to me as it was when I got started. With hard work and strong relationships, I know my business will grow as those businesses which I admire.
